How to take care of permanent makeup after the treatment?

Throughout the healing period, i.e. until the scabs are fully exfoliated, you should:

  • Do not apply makeup to the treated area (you can do it around the area with extreme care, leaving a margin of clean skin).

  • Do not soak the scabs (always after bathing, or washing your hair or face, you need to gently dry the pigmented areas with a paper towel or a tissue).

  • Once a day, for hygiene reasons, gently rinse the area with clean water (then dry it as above).

  • Do not use the sauna, solarium or swimming pool.

  • Avoid strenuous physical exertion.

  • Do not touch the treated area, and do not scratch or tear off the scabs.

  • Do not expose to sunlight (use glasses and a cap or hat in the summer).

  • Replace the pillowcase with a fresh one.

  • Sleep on your back to try not to rub your eyebrows on the pillow - as long as the skin is completely flaky.

  • Don't consume alcohol.

BROWS

  • First 24h - There may be some plasma (lymph) coming out of the treated area, especially in the first hours. To avoid the formation of a large scab (dried plasma), wipe this area with a damp cotton swab. Wipe every 30 minutes for the first 3 hours, then every 3 hours.

  • Next days 72 hours after the procedure (if you do not feel any discomfort, you can wait one more day) we start to lubricate the eyebrows with the cream obtained during the visit. Apply the ointment once a day, very thinly, using a previously washed hand or a cotton swab. Remember to gently rinse and dry your eyebrows before applying the cream. Use until the scabs disappear completely.

LIPS

What does healing look like?

Permanent makeup immediately after the treatment is more intense and exaggerated. The skin around you may be sore, swollen and red.

After a few days, scabs will form (in some of you they will be almost imperceptible, but you also need to be careful), which must fall off by themselves.

During exhalation, gaps will form with a lighter colour that may appear almost invisible underneath.

The colour will gradually saturate and the final effect will be achieved after 4 weeks (in exceptional cases even up to 6). Any additional pigmentation can be done no sooner than after 6 weeks.

Daily care after healing

In order to maintain the aesthetic appearance of permanent makeup, you need to take care of it regularly.

  1. The skin should be moisturised, therefore, when applying daily care, we do not skip our permanent makeup (the exception is the use of exfoliating or brightening preparations).

  2. It is recommended to use sunscreen on the treated area every day. UV radiation is the biggest enemy of permanent makeup, it will fade and discolour from exposure.

  3. After applying the daily makeup, you should always clean your eyebrows, lips or eyelids with a cotton swab moistened with, for example, micellar water. Otherwise, we cover our permanent eyebrows with foundation or powder, which will be invisible or turn into an unwanted shade (permanent eyebrows appear greenish after applying the foundation).

  4. During pigmentation, we have no influence on the growth of the eyebrows, so you should also depilate them, and in some cases make henna (if the hair is very light).
